In 2020 EEPDC participated in the Nigerian Marginal Field Bid Round (MFBR) for indigenous companies and won the 28.25% of Olua marginal field located in Oil Mining Lease OML 25.

EEPDC is a wholly owned Nigerian company specializing in energy development with expertise in hydrocarbon resource exploration and production. We are committed to sustainable development while upholding social and environmental standards.

Mr. Agbinone Oghene-Nyerovwo George

Agbinone George is a seasoned oil and gas professional with over two decades of industry expertise. As the CEO of Emag Oil and Gas Consultancy Engineering Ltd, Speed Recovery Ltd, Chase Marine Logistics, TEGMA and EEPDC, he has been at the forefront of providing cutting-edge solutions in onshore and offshore drilling, well intervention services, and facility upgrade and maintenance since April 2001.

Studied Geology at the University of Port Harcourt. Integrated Business Technology – Oxford Cambridge and RSA United Kingdom.

Agbinone George has built an impressive career marked by strategic leadership, technical excellence, and business acumen. His extensive experience in the oil and energy sector has positioned him as a key player in the industry, driving innovation and operational efficiency in complex projects.

With a strong foundation in business planning, negotiations, engineering, and project management, he has successfully led organizations in developing sustainable solutions for upstream operations. His expertise extends to offshore drilling, oil and gas exploration, and new business development, ensuring that his companies remain at the cutting edge of industry advancements.

Under his leadership, all the companies under the EMAG Group have established itself as a trusted name in the industry, providing comprehensive engineering and consultancy services tailored to meet the evolving needs of the energy sector. Oghenetejiri Agbinone  is the Managing Director of Emag Exploration, Production & Developement Company Limited (EEPDC). 

Having over 20 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry both locally and internationally, Oghenetejiri is a seasoned veteran in the Oil & Gas sphere where he has held managerial and leadership roles in Emag Group amongst its subsidiaries.

Oghenetejiri started his professional career in 2000 with Emag Group as a trainee drilling Engineer and business developement executive where he specialized in MWD and directional drilling. He is currently running the management afairs of  3 subsidiaries under the Emag Group including (Tegma Energry, IMR Ltd & Speed Recovery Limited)

OLUWAGBEMIGA IPINYEMI

Oluwagbemiga Ipinyemi is an accomplished Geoscientist with over two decades post graduate experience. An exceptional and highly driven senior E&P professional. He has successfully handled several business & technical leadership roles, leading multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with roles spanning; Technical, Operations, Strategy/Planning, Portfolio Management, and Asset Development Management.

Oluwagbemiga started his career as a Site Technician with Jamsa Nigeria Limited before joining Laser Engineering as a Reservoir Geologist where he was seconded to Total Energies as a Consultant supporting OML 100 & 99 Asset Team.

During his short stay in Mart Resources, he was the Lead Geoscientist responsible for Umusadege field, Qua Ibo field and Ke- field Development.

As part of Waltersmith Petroman Limited Management Team, he served in various capacities until December 2022, when he left as General Manager Studies. During his time in Watersmith, he held various Technical and Business-related roles including Senior Geologist, Head Subsurface, Asset Development Manager. He also played a key role in Assa Field acquisition and Ibigwe field development which resulted in production ramp up from an average of 1,200 bopd to 7,500 bopd. He led teams to represent the company in data room review for asset acquisition in Nigeria, Uganda, and Equatorial Guinea.

Prior to joining EEPDC, Oluwagbemiga served as General Manager-Asset Development and Operations in Excel Exploration and Production Limited.

Oluwagbemiga has a first-degree B.Sc. in Geology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, and an M.Sc. in Applied Geosciences and Management from the University of Manchester, Manchester, United Kingdom.

Peter EEPDC

Engr. Peter Ekhaesomhi is currently an Executive Director and the Vice President Exploration & Production. He has worked in both multinational and indigenous oil exploration and production companies in Nigeria for 30 years.

Peter graduated as a Petroleum Engineer from Nigeria’s Premier University at Ibadan; in the course of his professional career, he has acquired diversified working experience in drilling, production operations, field development and Asset evaluation. Peter commenced his career in Ashland Oil Limited in 1988 as a Petroleum Engineer in the drilling department via a deployment by Lighthouse Petroleum Engineering Company, Warri.

He thereafter joined Dubri Oil Company Limited in August 1989 as a Petroleum Engineer and rose up to the position of a Production Manager before he left in September 2007. In October 2007, he resumed at Waltersmith as The Head of Technical Services where he led the company to her first oil in March 2008 and subsequent field development including studies, drilling development wells, production optimization, installation of production and metering facilities. Peter is well versed in engaging several government regulatory agencies at both mid and high levels to ensure compliance to the regulatory standards. He has successfully supervised various work teams in field development, facilities and production operations at both senior and executive management levels.

He is the Team Lead on the development and construction of the ongoing 5000bpd Modular refinery at Ibigwe due to be commissioned in May 2020 and as well being involved in other successful new asset acquisition at both local and international levels.

Peter is a registered (and indeed an ex-officio) member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers International. He fully participates in both local and international conferences organized by the society as well as other industry related seminars and workshops. He is also a registered member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

Ayobiyi Shote is the immediate past Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Oilfield Services Ltd., a leading provider of turnkey drilling management solutions and integrated oilfield services.

Prior to joining Etihad Oilfield Services Ltd., Ayo held the role of the Managing Director, Baker Hughes Incorporated, West Africa and is well known for his leadership skills, strategies and business acumen which contributed to the growth of the organization.

With over a decade of experience in leading world-class executive teams to achieve major strategic transformations across West Africa, Oman, Yemen and Pakistan in the Oil and Gas sector, he has a wealth of experience in directing international restructures, rationalizations and consolidations of the cost base to generate savings, growth and profit and offer world-class leadership, guidance and support at the Executive Board level.

He holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool and a Master of Arts ‘Leading Innovation & Change’ from York St John University, UK. Mr. Shote is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a member of the Institute of Directors, both in the UK. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration, Nigeria.

David Huntrods was the Chief Operating Officer/ Project Director Etihad Energy Limited. With Over 40 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry having worked for some of the major players on both the Client (Saudi Aramco, Kuwait Oil Company, QGPC, ENI) and EPC Contractors (Bechtel, Fluor, Kvearner, Saipem, SKEC, Westfield Energy Resources,  and Etihad Energy Limited).

Having worked on and managed EPCI medium to large scale projects in the Oil, Gas and Power sectors with a TIC ranging from 50 million USD to 1.3 billion USD.    Including both Onshore and Offshore Gas Processing and Compression, Oil Gathering and Processing, Pipelines and Transmission, Utilities, Export Terminals, Refineries and Power Generation (OC/HRSG) David Huntrods holds a BSc Hons Electrical Engineering MSc Applied Electronics
